The video has a great start, pointing out the common practice of nations of worshipping their leaders, and then contrasting what Israel was told to do in contrast, and it's interesting that it's about the image in particular, because that is still common in the world.
Another common practice in all nations was slavery, but Israel got a law to allow escaped slaves freedom, not the normal kind of law in the world!
The popular notion some non believers try to spread is that God endorses slavery. The actual reality is that Israel got commandments to reduce slavery that other nations did not have.
our Bible study leader showed us this YouTube video clip yesterday at Thursday night Bible study.
I was instantly hooked.

Basically, it states, "you are gods". Wrong! Jesus is God.
The only thing, it's too humanistic. It leads people away from the true Jesus. Basically, it states, "you are gods". No. Jesus is God.
Hmm....I'm not sure that this video states that "humans are gods."
The point of the video is that all humans are made in the image of the triune God.
Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Yes, the original purpose of creation, including humans, was such. But it was totally broken by the entrance of sin into the world. Therefore, to say that the pre-fall condition of man is to be emulated now in order to achieve a new age of harmonious co-existence is a contradiction to the Bible. In an "intelligent" and "youth-oriented" way they lie straight to your face. No, Jesus did not teach that. It's a lie. Jesus taught very differently. We're not to co-rule as gods on earth, we are to believe in Jesus and to await a new life in heaven.
I strongly believe that this video clip states accurately that
(1) Jesus is divine (Jesus is GOD)
(2) Jesus died on the cross to save humanity

Yes, they did mentioned these things in passing. It does not change the overall message of the video preaching: humans are gods to co-rule on earth instead of God.
HUMANISM! Religion of the XXIst century western world... Alas...
