I was chatting with friends and I placed Islamic universities amongst the worlds best. They may not be academically minded, but they (I think, I am told) create healthy strong populations....

Lets face it, academics are renowned for not having a clue. I personally think apologetics for "freedom" is sometiomes an excuse (or cover up) for their negligence and incompetence. Theres graffiti on my wall, butfreedom. My daughters on drugs. Freedom. I flunked colleg. Freedom. I got tinitus at 15yo. Freedom. etc etc etc....

Apparently Nalanda university was quite good, and also there was a the famous lhasa, both buddhist.

They are all secular universities (mind I only glanced at the top 10 or so). We live in a multicultural society, but apparently the "world" (inc) doesnt have space to mention Azhar in Egypt or Buddhist, Hindu, Bahai, Jain etc etc.

There was a Oxford undergrad teacher I knew of, studied politcs and became a Hindu, thinking he would do better in faith than in secular life to benefit the world. He says this, religion is not profitable, and therefore the enemy of big business.
Its in that context that I view versus like this::
