Hey all, just figured I would post a little about myself, and why I am here.

I am a 24 year old single male hailing from central Florida. I am an avid fisherman (for fish), and working on being an avid fisherman for God. I am a graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design and I currently only do art for ministry purposes. I have been running a campaign of spreading free Christian-based graphic designs over Facebook, and its working

I hope to get married one day, but I desire not to have children, so I hope God leads me to a strong Christian woman who is my equal yoke. Marriage is one of the strongest desires in my life, so I am remaining hopeful that it will happen.

I love dubstep. I have always had an affinity towards electronic music but dubstep came along and set the bar very high.

I joined this forum due to the fact that we have a "child-free marriage" subforum, and I was just seeking some like-minded folks in that aspect to share their experiences in child-free marriage. I like kids, so don't think I am a kid hater. I am currently in the works of getting together a fishing event for my church for the kids. I am personally funding the rod and reel kits for them, and am super stoked about it all. I just don't have a desire for me own, and prefer to not have the parenting responsibility in my lap.

I am very friendly, and always looking to meet new friends, and revel in some good ol' fashioned fellowship in God. I am a good ol' country boy without the southern twang in my accent, lol.

As someone who has kids, wants more and views parenting as the greatest mission given to me by God, I really applaud you for being upfront and strong about your desire not to have kids Having a child is the most serious thing you can do with your life - God gives us a person, not a possession, and expects of us to raise that person to be the unique, talented, God-fearing adult that He needs them to be. It's certainly not something to be rushed into, or to be done for vain or selfish reasons. Whether we have kids or not, we have to be guided by God in that decision and if you feel that that's where God is leading you and that's the kind of person God created you to be, then good on you for recognizing that and sticking to it. I'll be praying for you that God brings someone who can walk that path with you

Many thanks! I do pray that God guides me to her, whoever she may be. He knows who would be most compatible for me, so I have all my trust in God that if she is out there, it will happen.

I am not going to lie to you..Savannah is a crummy town with nothing to do but get mugged and go to bars. The only redeeming quality to Savannah is Sweet Melissa's pizza. I will never go back to Savannah. Too many bad memories there. There are better historic towns to visit.

What type fishing and fish are we talking about here and where do you do most of your fishing?

I do both freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing here in Florida. This time of year I am fishing more freshwater for specks, and some saltwater for flounder and sheepshead, and in the warmer parts of the year I am primarily saltwater fishing for inshore game like redfish, seatrout, drum, whiting.

I live in Florida, not only because its my native home, but because there is natural beauty all around me here, a lot that you cannot find anywhere else. The fishing is awesome, and I cannot stand the cold.

No I have not been to Colorado, but it does seem like a gorgeous place. Again, I just don't like the cold.

My favorite food happens to be seafood (sushi included), shocker right?

The only sport I like/keep up with is fishing.

I would like to go to Prypiat, Ukraine - I think the photography opportunity alone would be worth the radiation poisoning. Fiji - Its tropical island to the max. Japan - Just because it would be cool to see.

Do you prefer to fish saltwater or freshwater? Florida has some huge bass. We used to fish farm pond 13 and lake kissimmee a lot when I was growing up.

I prefer saltwater. The fish seem to bite more eagerly, and they fight harder. Plus the only freshwater fish I enjoy eating is black crappie.
