I wanted to know who among us plans on going to the Pro-Life March in January in Washington, D.C.

Anyone coming?

Wish I could come, but my mom wouldn't go all the way up there just for that. Not saying it isn't a big deal, but we are from Louisiana, not as far as westerners, but further than Northeasterners (i think lol)

CeeBee, I am about three hours north of D.C. by bus. Many of the attendees were Pennsylvanians, Virginians, Marylanders, and other adjacent and near adjacent states. Christendom, Franciscan U. and Ave Maria also sent a fair group of young adults that I saw last year.

It would be great to have you, though!

You could be a rear guard warrior - pray for us extra hard that day.

i'm trying to convince my parents to let me have the rock for life package for my birthday.... but i'm not succeeding.. we'll be in florida so i'd have to fly up or something... they don't want me going alone, but i don't think it's a big deal. oh well, we'll see.

I would love to go, but I won't be able to. Sometimes classes can be very inconvienent to your schedule.

yep, i'll be goin this year again. Thanksfully, campus ministry at Canisius College is subsidizing half the plane ticket, and i'll only miss one day of classes. Hopefully we'll stop for a Mass at the Basilica, which is always an awesome experience.

I love the National Shrine. I had dreams about it constantly after I left it the first time, so I went back during Holy Week that year to see it again, by car.

I live in Miami, so it would be a little hard to get there, but my friend is going with her Catholic school (she lives in Maryland). It is compulsory, but a lot of Athiest students are refusing to attend and parents are supporting it
