Perpetual war is what Israel requires to maintain itself, Israel considers the loss of a few Jews at the hands of Palestinians acceptable price to pay for maintaining its settlements, maintaining its occupation. More accurately what Abbas said was that there were temples in Palestine that existed long before the Palestinian people came to the region. Palestinians were not the first people to settle in the region, we migrated to the region. Just as the Jews did from Egypt. How is this saying that it is not our land? For the past 2000 years the inhabitants of this land have been Palestinian, before that it was Palestinian and Jew. Does not mean that the European Jew has any right to come to Palestine and steal, rob and murder for land that may have been populated by people of the same religion of them 2000 year ago. a

There are many Arab Jew from Arab nations which are Semitic and many Palestinian Jew who are descendent from the original Israelites. However the large portion of Israel population, European Jew are trace their linage from people such as the Khazar, European tribe which converted to Judaism. Only a very small amount of European Jew are Semitic.
