I had this vision last night as I lay in bed trying to fall asleep. I was awake and conscious during all this. I was praying for a friend of mine who is having some serious back problems and I saw myself standing over him as he was lying on his bed and I had my hands on his back praying for God to take his pain away from him, and as I was doing this I saw s mask of Jesus, it looked like one of those former president masks, but it was of Jesus. Then a hand covered in blood came over me and grabbed my face, but it wasn't violent, it almost passed through my head. Then I started getting taunted by demons, I was hearing things so I said "In the name of Jesus Christ, son of God, I cat you out of my life now GET OUT" but it didn't help, I was still being tormented. So I began to sing out loud, I sang the words Our God is an awesome God ( the only words to the song I know) over and over again. as I was singing it, I heard others singing it as well. Then I saw the sky, it was dusk and full of clouds, like a thunderstorm was coming in while the sun was setting, it was very dim, and while I didn't see any I felt as though there were angels on top of the clouds singing with me. Then it grew black and to my right there was a BIG white flower that turned into a dove with an olive branch in it's beak, like what Noah saw. As it flew away flames came up and tried to burn the dove, but it flew away escaping the flames. Then suddenly I was cast into a cavern, but it wasn't like a cave, it was a domed ceiling and it was made of what looked like red volcanic stone, VERY porous, and suddenly I was holding a sword, a long thin (about 2 inches wide and 4 feet tall) it was a silver sword, but it was glowing, I would say it was reflecting light, but everything was red and black, so there was no white light to reflect, so it had to be glowing. Anyways I suddenly thrust the sword into the wall of the cavern and I ran the sword up the wall and over my head. Then I was standing in front of a demon ( I don't know if it was Satan, but this beast was large and red and had horns) when suddenly a tip of a sword came out of his stomach and the sword tip traveled up through his chest and he was cut in half and disappeared. I was not in a cavern but in the belly of this thing and I saw from the outside what I had done from the inside...then I opened my eyes. I'm not really sure what all of it could mean, maybe nothing. Any thoughts?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is the first thing that came to me:
The power of intercession! You tapped into the spirit realm on behalf of your friend and you were granted access to see your prayers at work.
The hand coming over you was the Lord letting you know that you are covered in the blood. I believe it passed through your head as an indication of the helmet of salvation. You engaged in spiritual warfare for your friend this is why the demons attacked you. They tried to intimidate you but God was teaching you persistence in the spirit. You were still able to praise God in the midst of the battle, you switched up warfare strategies to destroy the attack of the enemy.
Even in the darkness you saw a white dove, remember a white dove ascended upon Jesus when He was baptized. It represents the Holy Spirit and I believe the olive branch represents the anointing that breaks the yoke.
The dove flew away not to leave you but to show you the window of escape and that no matter how hard the enemy tries to throw darts at you to destroy and kill you, his flames will never be able to kill the spirit of the Lord in you.
The sword represents the word of God and it reflecting the Light and Life of the Word in you.
You applied the Word of God into the belly of the beast, you destroyed the attack from the root. No demon can withstand the Word of God. You stood up to that demon and gained the victory in Jesus name and by the power of the Word.

All I can say is what a strong spiritual gift of intersession of prayer. Continue on this path....you do have a very powerful gift but also remain completely humble about being chosen for pride will squelch that gift, I believe.
That whole story just made me cry. What a powerful testimony and experience you went through, praise God. I felt like I was experiencing it with you as I read your post.
This just reminds me all the more that I need to use my gift of interceding for people more. Satan attacks us where we are weak, obviously. Mine is staying busy enough so I don't hear His quiet voice.
