here's something that happened yesterday, which i thought had so many things go right in order not to go wrong, that i am POSITIVE that it was God's work. here we go:
This friend of ours (me and my parents) was going to deliver some wood for a construction my dad was doing. recently he had relegated to me to oversee the construction because he was so busy. anyway this friend, called Dick, was taking a little long to deliver, so i phoned him to tell him to hurry up. so he got my number that day. in the evening, my dad's phone was in the car, and my mother's phone was out of power. so he called me and told me that his dad was very sick (we suspect heart attack, but results still have to come back) and he didn't have any means to get to hospital (in kenya, ambulances you can forget about, and dick didn't have a car.). so we took him to a hospital that required a fairly large entrance fee and we had hardly any money left at home, and dick isn't one of the rich ones. putting ALL our cash together (mine, my parents, dick's), we managed to pay JUST.
now consider if my dad hadn't relegated to me the building job. i would never have called dick and he could never have called me later. not only that but the fact that between us we had JUST enough money to admit dick's dad. isn't He so wonderfull?
