A temporary job became permanent

My target job... something picked up hastily to save myself from unexpected unemployment.... was meant to just last a few months and I would have to go on to the next thing but it is now deemed permanent because I surpassed the decision making for the seasonal hires and worked hard enough to get kept on. It is not exactly the career I had planned but it could become a career and I have to look at my Options here since my credit is tanked too low to re-enter the bank job world. I’m ready for where this goes next.

praise the lord. im actually going to a job "appointment" today. been out of work for awhile so I know how the "not having a job" thing goes. hope things work out well for you and you see how the Lord is using you in this job.

I spent two or three years working in retail. It is good experience knowing how to work with people.

That's great! You definitely could make a career out of it. My aunt had started a job at Target in HS. She had planned to quit it when she started college, but kept with it. She kept being moved up over the years. Now she lives in Minn. & works at their headquarters, making a really nice living. She met her husband at the corporate office. He started out the exact same way, as a sales assistant on the floor. Now is an exec. Target tends to treat their employees right. Congratulations!
