  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ah . . . . . . . proof of the second universe . . . . . hmmn?
Not being that computer literate, or indeed that literate at all, I can at least inform you that the internet is a wordly resource, and should be used wisely. I do, and if you do, I am sure that the required evidence will be forthcoming.
Suffice to say at this juncture, that should you aim the required implement at the sperical universe, exactly the same heat signature is evident, no matter where you look. This is what you would expect to find in a universe, with no deviation.
Interestingly, several years ago, only to have been made public last August, is an area of space that has been discovered as emitting a heat signature that is alien to our own universe. This by definition has to a non-universe.
In our present understanding of the cosmos, we can only interpret these findings as a hole in the very fabric of our universe, into . . . . . .er . . . . . um? . . . . . another universe?
Hey, better explanations are welcome.

Anyone know anything about this?

Anyone know anything about this?

This thread at Thunderbolts will give you an overview of the argument that was used to make the claim of "evidence" of another universe. Essentially astronomers found a big "hole" in our universe. That hole defies all predictions related to inflation and therefore the hole should have been used to falsify inflation theory, but instead they tried to use the existence of the hole in our universe to claim that another "universe" created the hole. It's the most ridiculous claim I've seen in a very long time. The mainstream is getting desperate in it's effort to prop up Lambda-CDM theory..

m-therory predicts that there are infinite universes, each with a different set of physical laws governing it. Each universe is located on a brane that contains every single open string for that universe. These are things such as light, mass, some radiation, and almost everything else one can think of. Only closed strings can transverse the spaces between universes. A closed string would be something like a graviton.

There are also supposedly 11 dimensions, with the 6 ones we cant see being rolled up and compacted. One dimension then contains the multi-verse.

Most of it is supported mathematically, but its like the "last mile". So far no one has been able to link everything together into a TOE. The big bang or some other natural phenomena always breaks everything once physicists try to test the equation. M-theory is also only one of many multiple universe theories being worked on by the scientific community.

(just a brief description of a theory that could easily occupy thousands of pages.)
