A quick way to agree with a poster

Finding someone in a discussion thread toward the top or somewhere in the middle, if you post to say "I agree with you" the post winds up at the bottom. If the poster takes the time to look at it they might be upset because it really isn't a furtherance of the topic.

So how bout a quick way to agree with the poster? Some kind of [like it] place on their post that shows up on the post a reader agrees with giving the (example) "Juelrei liked this". More than two people who agree can be (example) "09 liked this".

Or beside the # who liked it, the icon

Dunno that my words are entirely relevant to this particular discussion but I respectfully suggest that the political forum be closed.

The disagreements that appear all over it are simply not in accordance with anything I have read in the Bible. Because of this I am compelled to say it is not Christian but more in keeping with the wiles of Antichrist.

In those political threads one will frequently see words of hate, disparagement, attacks upon the president, attacks upon liberals, attacks upon minorities, innuendo, cynicism, and downright lies. On top of all that as I have openly discussed with another poster, the forum mods have applied double standards in enforcing certain stated board rules. I'm not criticizing anyone one person in particular as there are many who commit these misdeeds and am mindful that I, too, have been criticized for being overbearing in my own expressions. And there are other complaints which I have expressed privately to mods and to the admin.

As a Christian professing forum, one would expect to see the utilization and furtherance of Jesus's teaching in wholesome and fulfilling ways. One would never expect his teachings to be used as a means of promoting the aims of political extremists. Yes, one is free to ignore the political section. But that would not stop anyone from exploiting it to advance their destructive agendas. The better way is to void it altogether so that the forum can be used to promote true Christian teaching. This furtherance is something we should all agree upon.
