A question for older men

I'm 25 and I have a tendancy to like slightly older men. The reason being is that I have a small child and they are more understanding of my limited free time and are more on the same time line as I am, since I've long surpassed my party phase.

But the question is why do SO MANY much much older men hit on me? I'm talking late thirties to even late fifties. They always ask me out or will contact me on dating sites. Even when I specify my age limit (9 years...why? because that still makes them to young to be someone my mom might date).

What is it about me or younger girls that makes older men attracted?

It makes us feel young again I guess. Recapturing youth and all that stuff.

I think the older guys, looking for younger women, don't really want a firm relationship because they are somewhat set in their ways. They would probably want something casual even though they say they are looking for something permanent. Besides that what would they have in common with a younger woman?

Any older man would also probably pass on the responsibility of raising children.

I have the chance of a relationship with a 32 yr old Filipino woman but a marriage to an oriental woman can be different than say marrying a Caucasian. Most oriental women from out of the country don't care about age or looks and are more apt to be loyal to their mate and spoil them. My buddy married a Filipino woman and he said that is the best thing he has ever done. She spoils him rotten.

Sounds like this young lady has a good head on her shoulders. I did like guys in their 30's when I was in my twenties.
Some older men are not even *that* grown up yet.

I take very good care of myself, but still, my body is not going to be exactly like it was when I was 24, no matter how many miles I run; and I cannot afford tons of plastic surgery.

If a man my own age or even a little older wants a young gal and/or cannot appreciate the hard-earned lines on my face and hands, he can go fly a great big kite in a lightening storm.

You're joking, right? You're asking why men are more attracted to younger women than older women? Where to begin? It isn't just "older men". It's all men.

I don't hit on women your age, but I can totally understand men who do. There's so much to gain, and so little to lose. Why not give it a shot?

Now, that I can understand. It's completely untrue, but I get where you are coming from. I'm def. not innocent or undamaged. A cynic among cynics..LOL

This has been discussed at length before, but in addition to Jim's comments, younger women are more physically attractive to many men. Smaller rears, firmer ...ummm... fronts, less cellulite, fewer wrinkles, etc.

And they can be more psychologically attractive in that they might not be as jaded as older women in some respects.

I rather like crowsfeet myself, but you get the picture...

Well I had it both ways, dated a guy of 25 when I was 31 and dated a guy who was almost 10 years older than me when I was 35. I think I'll stick to closer my age this time .

And on the subject of younger woman, they get old too. Mature woman (please notice the wording here) are not as full of nonsense as younger women are, remember, I was young too. In fact, I still am , just more mature emotionally.
