Dear Lord, please Saviour Lord
Take my burdens, my crosses
That I can carry no more.
My hands are not big enough
My shoulders, not wide enough
Nor my back strong enough
To keep going without your help.
My fingernails too, are too weak
To keep their grip on the cliff's edge
The abyss yawns in wait for me
To drop.
My mortal strength is failing
My blighted faith is weakening,
My heart, a wilderness.
My soul it cries out for you.
Help me oh Lord, my Saviour Lord
To Your hands I commit
My life, my load,
As I try to follow Your
Narrow road.
Lift me up and take my worries
And scatter them to the dust.
