  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please join me in praying for my sister Tami who is my very best friend in the world as well as my "sissy". She is going through a very difficult time in her life right now (marriage problems). I love her and I hate to see her in any type of emotional pain. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless!

Lord stand with Tami as she goes through this rocky place in her road. Sometimes when it gets really rough, we don't realize that even the rocks have their place in our lives. Help Tami and her husband through this, and help them one day look back on it as one of the most wonderful times in their lives, because they grew so much and became so close to you. Bless Amie for being such a loving sister. Teach them all to be more like you through this time. Amen.

The Bible says: many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers us out of them all. We know that God is going to cause all things to work out for the best for us. So that she will get the victory and be an overcomer in and through the name of Jesus. Thanks, JohnR7

You are in my prayers daily, amie. You know I will pray for your sister. I will pray also that her husband comes to know the mercy and grace of Christ. That he is indwelled by the Holy Spirit and comes to know how to head up a household with love and mercy.
God bless you and your sister. May God strengthen you both and bring peace as you have never known. Through the Love of our Christ and Saviour.
