Father, I am always searching for things. I believe so much in "proving all things". Your truth is not one that hides. Sometimes I feel like or made to feel like I am a troublemaker because I challenge the status quo that I was brought up in church with if it is not in harmony with what the Bible says. Sometimes others who feel they have "access" to all truth can even make me doubt what through prayer and study has been revealed to me.
Dear God grant me Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time. Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace. Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will. So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
I love you so much, I pray that I am a testimony for you and that I don't let you down. Thanking you for hearing my prayer. Amen
