  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I voted for Luthor-- hasn't he been President already in the comics?-- but if Darth Vader had been an option instead of Chancellor Palpatine, I'd have voted for him. I'm really excited about his campaign to bring order to the galaxy... ;)

Magneto would also be an attractive choice, because his concern for the mutant race gives him a chance to have a more convincing slogan than the one most of these guys would probably use: "Vote for me and maybe I won't kill you..."

Voldemort - Why choose the lesser of two evils?
Chancellor Palpatine - Because I know how to manage a war.
Lex Luthor - If I can continue to be a legitimate threat to Superman after all these years even though I have no super powers, imagine what I can do for our country.
Grendl - Because human problems cannot be fixed by humans!
Xerxes (and his pimped out chair) - Of course I am more qualified, have you seen my opponent's chairs?
Lore - Because I'm stronger, smarter, faster and better then you.
Harry Osbourne (the 2nd Green Goblin, NOT the Hobgoblin) My opponent said that I'm nothing but a spoiled rich kid, so I bought the company he works for so I could fire him... AND I'LL DO THE SAME TO YOU UNLESS YOU VOTE FOR ME!
Mr. Linderman - Because I'm pulling all the strings already.
Ben (from LOST) - You're going to vote for me anyway, I'll just make you think it was your idea.
Captain Tomaluck of the Romulan Star Empire - Because the Romulan Empire discovered Democracy centuries before you measly humans, we are much better at it.
