A Passion For Jesus?

Do as any one share in my passion for dear Jesus?
As I read the account of Israel and how they forsook their first love (God) it deeply touched my heart,
in a way it’s a letter to Jesus.
“As it were I could see God my dearest friend and love of my life being so worried and hurt at the thought that I would forsake Him when I finally met my spouse.”
I said to Him Lord God forbid that I should ever leave you for her. You are my first love all that I have is yours, and no one NO ONE can make me the feel the way you do. I love you, and you have all my hearts affection. I will not stop loving you Jesus, nor will I let my mind be over run by thoughts of her. Jesus you will always have my heart. Don’t be concerned dear Jesus, I love you more than any, could I forget the happy times we have together? The times, just you and me, the times you have comforted me and overwhelmed with your love and blessing? How could I exchange you my dearest friend for earthly love even though I’ve waited so long. I would rather die than grow cold toward you, I would rather die than loose my affection and love for you.
I am yours forever, and no one and nothing will ever take your place.
I am yours my Jesus, and will always be. You died for me and rescued me, freed me and lifted me and I am so grateful. So fear not my God, I am yours forever. Your child . John

Passion; in the Greek means "to suffer" Jesus Christ has a passion for His creation. If you have a passion for Jesus remember, it will not be without pain and heartache and suffering. There will be so much pain and things go wrong, because to have a passion for Him, means to suffer as He did.

That is really cool. I completely agree!

I think we Christians should strive to overwhelm Jesus with our love, though this is impossible. He is a friend, is He not? The dearest friend and most constant companion we have. And in loving Him, we know and understand better how to love one another.

Of course nothing comes between us and Jesus Christ!

You know... after I watched "The Passion of the Christ," (which, as controversial as it may have been, I thought was a good movie), I got to thinking about it... and... I wish I could have had the chance to take Jesus' burden from Him. Or at least take His beatings, or some of His whippings. Or to help Him carry his cross. It would be the least any of us could do...



I got a t-shirt the other day that says "Say Yes To Jesus." My dad won't let me wear it, but... whatever.

Yeah C.A.B.L I sure know what sufferng is brov. I have suffered emotionally tremendoually and thats why I am able to love Jesus with such deep affection, coz this brov has had a lot of suffering and tears .. but his pain drove him to the arms of Jesus ..and thus I got to know Him. Somebody once asked me this.

Is a passion something that drives you, or inspires you to persevere?

I answered this.

The best definition of the word COMpassion is that when you have compassion for something it hurts you not to see it fulfilled.

For me, Jesus is my greatest passion. When the Passion of Christ came out, i was just awe-struck that out of the three people being crucified, Jesus was the only one who crawled TOWARDS his cross.

Im in NO WAY like Jesus, so please do not take this the wrong way. But my compassion is the same as that of Jesus.

When I see my friends doing drugs, looking at porn, and stealing, I feel a deep deep sorrow within my heart. Not one that looks down on them for doing it. But one that makes me realise, these are my friends. And theyre going to hell.
And that compassion inspires me to persevere in preaching the gospel in my lifestyle. And my passion for Jesus drives me with HIS strenght to do it.

I may love Jesus a lot, but I do lack that compassion like you have, I do hurt at times when here of peopel killing them selves, but am I hardened to the may disasters of the world? I pray that I have more outward compassion as my young brov Hotmetal has. Bless you brov .. you Dude man lol. Take care JOHN
