It looks like there is so much one can learn & grow here. Also meet and befriend a lot of people from all over the world....
And being over fifty thought this would be a great place to start. Do believe the Lord led me here in how we all can fulfill His desire to reach and touch each others lives, in so many ways.

I am not sure what you want but if you can find their name on the members list (see top blue header)you can pm them or leave a profile not and tell them about the thread. I think that might work. Jan

I do hope we can be a blessing to one another Lattelady. BTW I love lattes I am not big into specialty coffees as such but lattes are hard to resist. I bet you are too. Jan

You, can do this for yourself

WRITE A NEW PM ....[invite]

next, insert the handle/ 'name' of that member
in the SEND-TO box

If you spell it wrong wait a few seconds
and the system will offer you some hints from the Members Lists [?]

Next before TRYING TO SEND

check the box below the submit button

the one, that says..... SEND ANYWAY ?]

then, submit the PM

It WILL 'go'

The Instruction Booklet, seems, to have been mislaid
or, been worn-out......... CF has a large number of members
ALL, with more or less information [on How Stuff Works]

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, Durga is a Hindu goddess. I am not myself Hindu, but I just like some of their gods and goddesses and that is one of my favorites. I am actually a practitioner of Zen Buddhism.

I realize you are all Christians, and I am not so I am glad you aren't holding that against me!

You used 'plurals' ie: "Gods and Godesses"

We, love and worship and recognize ONLY ONE 'TRUE' "God" here
in the belief, that ALL 'others' are False Gods
and, whilst we may treat 'relics' reverently
do not pray to idols for intercession on our behalf

Personally speaking, I would have no-interest at-all
in conversations, which might expound upon
[suggesting the existence of...] 'other gods'

Welcome Durga Happy Birthday and congrats on hitting the big 50. I hit 60 soon (middle of August). The 50's have been pretty good for me. I do hope you will find friendship here with the Golden Eagles. We just like to share a bit of our day to day lives with one another on some threads, pray together on others and play games on most of the rest.
