Subject: The sharing of marriage...The sharing of marriage...The old man placed order for one hamburger, Frenchfries and a drink. He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut itin half, placing onehalf in front of his wife.He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two pilesand neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip andthen set the cup downbetween them . As he began to eat his few bites ofhamburger, the peoplearound them were looking over and whispering.Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple -all they can afford isone meal for the two of them.'As the man began to eat his fries a young man came tothe table and politelyoffered to buy another meal for the old couple. Theold man said, they werejust fine - they were used to sharing everything.People closer to the table noticed the little old ladyhadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat andoccasionally taking turns sippingthe drink.Again, the young man came over and begged them to lethim buy another mealfor them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you,we are used tosharing everything.'Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping hisface neatly with thenapkin, the young man again came over to the littleold lady who had yet toeat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it youare waiting for?'She answered(Continue below - This is great)'THE TEETH.'*******************************dave
That is so funny hubby and I got a real laugh from it.
*chuckles, hoping I never have to share quite THAT much with my mate!*
Mmmmm . . I like that . . "Upgrade to the Highest Power"
I agree that is a bit TOO CLOSE.
I'm not really new, but it has been a while since I've been here. I used to mod this forum when I newly turned 50 (I think I was the only over-the-hill mod back then), but when the reforms came, I was given the boot from this forum and I have really only peeked in since.
So Hi! Nice to see you all. I have some different lifestyle situations from most of you (I have two still-growing up children while most of you are probably on grandchildren) but it will be fun to visit and see what I have forward to. LOL.
My children are all grown up youngest 21 but still have three out of four at home and I am 59 so I think I can relate New Dawn.
Well, welcome back, A New Dawn.
Dawn, great to see you posting
Welcome back A New Dawn!
Hi Buttercup and Amadeus and Kaykay
I have a special needs son still living at home and I work in that field. I love it.Good Morning. This is my first time here. My daughter got me started on CF a month ago and I like this a lot. We try to stay close with our reps and blessings. I have a grandson with autism who is going to be 6 June 1st. I'm blessed to be able to see him just about every weekend. They live about an hr. away. He is a joy! Full of Love and also a handful sometimes to handle. I hope everyone has a great Friday. I'm off to work soon.
AMENWelcome, missmsdancearama! I hope you like CF and hang around some. Many of us are addicted to it and spend most of our lives here. LOL.Hope you find a happy balance.
Hello, Yes I'm having fun at CF. I do find myself here a lot, but I like talking to others from other parts of the world. I'm still trying to find all the dressup contest and to figure out how to make changes to my charactor. I do have KittyStorm to help when I can't figure it out myself. I hope you all have a great weekend
It takes time to sort out at first especially finding the exact location of wanted items but it comes with time. Keep at it. The contests help I think with getting more adept at the whole process.
Anyway so great to see you all today. Guess what? the weather man actually was correct and we had SNOW here last night. It is still on my back lawn and covering my blooming Rhododendrons. Quirky.
