Dear saints, Im delighted to be back with all of you and as we approach Easter, please allow me to wish all of you a happy and blessed Easter
. More than Christmas, to me, Easter is the essence and goal of my faith resurrection into eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18). Id be delighted to see every one of you in heaven in our resurrected and glorified form (Romans 8:30, 2 Corinthians 5:4). Can you imagine shining more brilliantly than the Sun and the brightest starts in the universe (Philippians 2:15)? Thats the glory that awaits all of us in our Heavenly Fathers Presence.
Today, however, Id like to focus on something that all of us are aware of but seldom focus on. The thing that grieves most saints is not the fear of death and damnation because the Lord has already insured that well escape Gods wrath (Romans 8:1), but the fact that there will be no one to remember them when theyre gone. People in Biblical times had children, particularly sons, to carry on their family name (Genesis 15:2-3). For millennia men have striven to build, kill and conquer so that theyd be remembered forever (Genesis 11:4) by posterity. So its obvious that what matters most to human beings is to be remembered well by those that they leave behind. What if I told you that God Almighty is assigning a new name (identity and reputation) to each and every one of us, a name that is immortal, invincible and eternal? Wouldnt that be more blessed than to have our family name preserved for a few thousand years?
Please turn with me to Revelation 2:17. These verses were penned by the Apostle John while he was in exile on the island of Patmos. The symbolism of a white stone could represent the purity of a new identity that the Lord will be bestowing upon us. Whats even more relevant is that many of Gods people didnt have to wait to reach heaven to be bestowed with a glorified identity. In Genesis 17:5 God Almighty changed the Prophet Abrams name to Abraham. From being childless Abram went onto become the father of many. In Genesis 17:15 we see God altering Abrahams wifes name from Sarai to Sarah (or princess). John 1:42 describes how the Lord Jesus re-named Simon as Peter (or the rock upon which the Lord built His church (Matthew 16:18).). The Lord is preparing to re-christen the new Zion and the new Church and will glorify us with eternally blessed identities and reputations (Isaiah 62:2).
So you see friends, while protecting and preserving our family or blood line is a wonderful thing, our Heavenly Father has something more majestic in store for us. He will be endowing each of us with a name that lives forever! This Easter Sunday please join me in prayer, as not just ourselves (or souls) but our new holy identities (and reputations) live forever! Amen.
Saints, my intention in this writing was only to illustrate some concepts and not incriminate anybody in anyway. I apologize if some or all of this content offended you in anyway, as my intention was quite the opposite.

Dear friends, Im quite certain that all of you are sanctified, Holy Ghost baptized saints. Should there be any amongst you that dont know the Lord yet, I pray that the Lord of the Universe will set you free from sin and disobedience into His glorious light and freedom. Amen.

PS: Thanks for taking the time to read my scribble saints. If you find a lot of similarities between this writing and those of Rev. Oswald Chambers, thats because the late Rev. Chambers is my mentor. Dear friends, please forgive me if I dont respond to your mails and debates. Im a full time college professor and havent the time to debate (that and Im not very good at it.) I was dead, and behold, Im alive forever and ever .(Revelation 1:18). Amen.
