Well, it's a new year everyone Just a few weeks from being 6 years of my Ginger's going home. Here's hoping this year will be better than last. Keep the faith all and Press On!

Well, it's a new year everyone Just a few weeks from being 6 years of my Ginger's going home. Here's hoping this year will be better than last. Keep the faith all and Press On!

I like your title "ComesoonmyLORD". And I like your message "Keep the faith all and Press On". I would like to add to that - "Even so come Lord, Jesus." In just a few weeks it will be 11 years since my husband went Home to be with the Lord. I still miss him very much, but I know my Savior is with me walking me through the pilgrimage He has put me on.

This is the day which the Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. My husband and I use to say that verse every day. He would start the verse, and I would finish it. It seemed to get us through each day. I still quote that verse (by myself now), and it gets me through another day. May your day be filled with the joy of the Lord.

Praying that this year will be better than last for you and me both. It has been four and a half years since my husband's death. I agree with keeping the faith and pressing on! That is exactly what God and our loved ones would want us to do. Bless you!

I belive our loved ones would want us to carry on. For me, I have children to raise. I know Ginger wouldn't approve of me just giving up, in any sense of the word. There are many times I look back at the last few years and hope that she would proud of me, of us. Some days that's all I have to hold on to, the memory of her voice saying "Press On".

You are right, our loved ones do want us to carry on. It is just so hard at times. I am praying that this year will be much better. I say that every year and it seems that it is not, but when I really think about it each year has been better than the last. Just not as good as I would have wanted it to be. I am learning just to leave it all in God's hands and not to worry.
