  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ever since I became a MJ, whenever I hear the word Jesus, Christ, see Christian stuff I feel like it is irrielevent to me. It seems like a different religion to me, almost like if I went to Saudi Arabia and they were talking about Allah and Muhamad (I did not spell that right). This is because I dont believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in the Yeshua. Who really are two very different people, you know? In the past I used to be into Christian stuff, but now I am more into Jewish stuff. Should I be, because even though I am not physically a Jew, spiritually I am? :help:

Yeah, it is just I think of myself more as a Jew than a Christian. I guess because to us Messianics we follow the Torah and that is what Yeshua preached, but to Christians their Jesus did not preach it, so it is kind of weird to be into Christian stuff when they ignore the word of g-d.

Just a gentle reminder, before things start heading down this track....... if you feel the posts were not heading in this direction then just consider this a PSA from your friendly neighborhood moderator to review the rules - LOL
From our MJ forum Rules: (if you haven't read them in a while it would be good to refresh! ;) )
4) No posts that denigrate a Christian denomination or Christian group including Protestant or Catholic denominations will be tolerated - these will be deleted and the poster will be warned.
Basically, we do NOT allow accusations that a particular Christian denomination or group is non-Christian. That is the bottom line. Debates regarding doctrine is allowed. Accusations are not.
[snip] {see examples of allowed and not allowed at this link}
Basically, try to rephrase your question and post so that it does not come across as being judgemental and accusatory. You will find that the message gets across better, and the debate will remain civil.
.
1) Pagan Influences within the Church
2) Discussions of Other Faiths
3) Attacks Against Each Others Observance
