Hello, one and all; it's great to find such a community for those finding their feet in Christ; like me...

I'm now 28; but about 10 years ago I dedicated myself to Christ and struggled with my doubts and the world. I was a fool in my problems; I did not seek help, or even pray to God. I just walked away and tried to distract myself with petty intellectualism and empty pleasures. God's plan was for me to 'wander the desert' for 10 years; finding no happiness.
Then; He has put me at this point of changes; and given me my way back. I am going into hospital to have a small tumour removed next week; and early tests say that it should be easy and quick to cure. I prayed to God for this; that Christ would save me from my fear; and that this would be the thing that led me back to appreciate life with His grace. I have placed my (thankfully) minor operation in the hands of God; and I would appreciate you remembering me in your prayers. My name is Nick; and I'm in the UK.
It's thrilling to see God move in my life; even going so far as to help the faith of a Christian girl at work. She was having doubts and then she sees me, I used to be a real agnostic critic, saying how I have accepted Jesus! Never let it be said that He does not have a sense of humour!
