I like to think of this forum as a place to meet people and become sort of posting friends. Sometimes this place leads me to a big arguement. I have come back after being gone a couple of months. There are plenty of people I have never seen here so I am gonna say a few things about me and everyone else can too if you want to.

Hi all.
I'm a S@HM of 4. My identical twin daughters are 7, my son and step-son are 10. (there are lots of pictures of them all on my website) I'm a girl scout leader. I like seahorses and dragonflies. I have my tree up and mailed my Christmas cards, but I have done zero shopping for Christmas gifts. I like coffee, but this morning I'm having tea. My youngest is home sick today. Seems to have the same thing her twin had on tuesday; cough and hoarse voice. When I'm not posting here, I play on Neopets.

I live in Virginia and I work as an Assistant Teacher at my church's Preschool. I attend a SBC. I actually enjoy working with young children, but I feel pulled to take a break from it next year. Got too many things going on at home, and I just feel the need to stay home and get things done. I have 2 boys, a 10 and 8yr. old. My oldest is extremely gifted in school (don't know where those genes came from) and my youngest is very athletic. Even if it's 20 degrees outside, he'll be out there. I've been married to my husband for 16 1/2yrs. Yes, we're still attracted to each other... . I'm just starting to set up my Christmas stuff up. I enjoy doing it because my boys get envolved. Besides, they tell me that I decorate nicely.. .

We are in a small town of 389 people about 40 minutes outside of Kansas City proper. I was born and raised by a bunch of crazy Texans and Louisianans mostly here in Kansas City area. I am considered 1st generation Yankee as that I am the first to be born outside of the confederacy
My husband is also from this area, Kansas’s side of things.

Actually, my family roots are in Shreveport, Monroe, West Monroe and Chatham, LA! My Great-Great-Great-Grandfather migrated there in the 1800's and settled. We still own quite a bit of land there in Chatham. Big Daddy had the sawmill, and Grandpa had the general store there. Both sides of the family names are very common. My cousin is a popular country singer from that area. (Does that give it away?)

I am a Mother of 17, 15, 2 year old boys 3 Cats and 3 Labs (can I count my husband here? )
Run two small businesses from my home, but now searching for "outside" work. I did work full time as Project Financial Analyst/Project Management for a Pharmaceutical Organization here in KC until baby was born.
Husband is a new Christian (1.5 years) Chef/Caterer/Owner Operator/ Restaurant Manager – hence one of our home businesses
We were married in April 05- second marriages for both but have been together since 2000
My 17-year-old son is a writer (published starting at 13)
My 15-year-old is a wrestler and runs Track
My 2-year-old is slow to talk but very bright
My animals are also my babies
God has entrusted us with 3.5 acres and a suitable home too -for now
I love Bible Study, Photography, Gardening, and Old black & white movies (classics)
I am excited that I am returning to school for the first time since 9th grade (GED) this semester. Unsure what I want to be when I grow up (or what God has planned I should say!)
Member of an SBC church here locally. Attended in very strict private Christian schools early years, then to public in junior high. Went away from organized religion and did not trust the Bible to be an accurate source for many years. I have a completely different opinion now!
