I found a lot of things in this article very interesting. While some of the opinion might be a bit over the top (I'm not really convinced about Bitcoin personally), it's a welcome change from the usual doomsday stuff we're fed.

How will the church respond to all this tech? Interesting times. But maybe Elon was wrong about the future looking like Deus Ex.

Yeah, I'm up for that. Especially the return of supersonic air travel (I mean, 7 hours to get from Heathrow to JFK in the 21st century? Come on.)

I've no doubt that a 'great acceleration' IS coming. While we've been hunkered down, we've ALL been working interpersonally too. Even if that isn't evident yet.

By 2025, we will TRULY come alive.

Despite some of my more recent DOUR posts, I haven't lost faith in humanity yet. I'm just a bit disappointed.

Here we only have 10 percent vaccinated in some places but that improving, elsewhere its closer to twenty percent. Still as an elderly women so beautifully put, this vaccine is turning the tables as the elderly get those vaccinated first before the young, they are now safe of serious effects and may get nothing but they can still be carries and effect the young. That at least till we can vaccinate more people to get herd immunity.

yet evidence we are not of the woods, Buffalo has one of the highest vaccinated populations and yet hospitalizations are on the rise from those not yet vaccinated. They suspect this is because those vaccinated are not behaving like that old woman.

Would like to comment on a couple of things. About diver-less cars.....yes I know the technology is here but the BIG question.....who accepts liability if a computer sensor falters and causes a crash. I've heard some say when talking about this that it will be worked out.....but again I ask HOW? Will car companies REALLY want to be paying out endless law suits and could they eve do it? Are people going to accept sorry you're out of luck it's just one of those things....we want this technology but you can't sue.....how fair is that?

Also about MAN going to Mars. (as in sending live people) Yes we can do it now as far as knowing how and maybe will.....I suspect though mankind's going there will be a one or two time event just to say we've done it. After you've got over the passion of just accomplishing the feat will there really be any drive to keep doing so. Mars or travelling that far away can be a very unforgiving experience of you've got to have everything going for you good for long periods of time and very dangerous. Robotic ships will always continue for whatever reason.

I do see more future for the Moon when it comes to Man's interest. It's only three days away and while dangerous not to the same degree as going to Mars. There will probably be a Super Hotel built where the ELITE of this world can visit there and it'll be a thing of great status to say you've been to the Moon.
