CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For us to be able to function properly as the body of Christ in sharing the gospel of our salvation with the people of the world, and yes, also with the worldly church, we have to have the right foundation with regard to who the church is and what it is not and what our function is to be to the body of Christ and to the people of the world. So much of what is called "church" today are just businesses being marketed to the world, so rather than the church going out into the world with the truth of the gospel, they are altering the character of God, of his church, and his gospel message in order to draw in large crowds of people from the world into their places of business. And so many of them are not teaching the gospel that Jesus taught and so the people are not receiving the biblical gospel message. Anyway, missions is much broader than just someone deciding to go to a park and to share whatever version of the gospel they have been taught, but it has to begin with the correct foundation with the body of Christ functioning biblically as they ought, and with the people being called of God to ministry and them being led of the Spirit of God in where God would have them and what he would be having them doing. Just noting.
So, does the Missions section of CF have any kind of rules about what is appropriate or not appropriate to post on missions? I am just not seeing anything. Some guidelines would be most helpful.
