I just joined and saw that there was an introduction section, so this post seemed like the thing to do. I come from a Christian family, but I can't always say that I've been strong with my faith. Now, though, I've been thinking a lot about God and Christianity in general, and it seems that there is something fundamentally missing in my life without faith and religion; you could say I found a God-shaped hole in my life. While I have not gone to a church in ages, I would like to eventually make that part of my life again. In meantime, I thought joining a place like this would be an excellent way to get acquainted with a Christian community.
As for a little about myself, I'm a college student and tutor. I just love all fields of mathematics, which is why it's both what I major in as well as what I tutor. In fact, if anyone here needs math help I would be glad to lend a helping hand. For my non-math interests, I love watching baseball, football, B-grade sci-fi(especially on MST3K and Rifftrax), and Family Feud. I'm also a huge bibliophile, so I love reading all sorts of books: math, physics, fiction, history. Finally, when I'm not busy, I also enjoy running, or at least walking, to keep healthy.
I don't want to make this introduction too long, so I'll end it here. I think I'll meet a lot of great people here and grow in my faith through the process.
