A Good Weekend!

It’s been a year since my spiritual anxiety started getting really bad. I’ve been having a lot of issues in that regard since quarantine started, including an anxiety attack just a few days ago.

I went camping with my family this weekend, and God have me what I really needed. I wasn’t worrying about the things I typically worry about. Some fun time outdoors with loved ones was really great for my mental and emotional health. And spending time in His creation was really, really wonderful. Seeing beautiful waters and majestic mountains...it’s moments like those that all my doubts vanish. He is amazing, and He makes beautiful things.

I’m so, so grateful to Him for giving me the last few days. He provided memories I’ll treasure always. Praise the Lord!

am so glad. i have the sam,e struggles you have. i wish i could go away somewhere and do what you did but we are still in lockdown

but am thrilled for you. God bless you. you continue to be in my prayers. my walk with God is all over the place right now but i do sometimes pray. and you are one i pray for <3

I know it’s hard with everything going on right now. If you can, maybe try looking at the sky—especially at sunset! That’s a piece of creation you can see almost anywhere!

I pray for you, too. We all have our ups and downs, but that doesn’t mean the downs hurt any less. The anxiety makes everything so much harder, and you latch onto every negative voice you hear... But I’ve seen you spread so much love and light in your time here, and that’s truly a wonderful thing!

i love sunsets. so beautiful. i need to get motivated to paint again. why do i feel so unable to motivate myself to do things i know will be healing
