  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's not The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
but Kurt carr sings it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM4ej-1INlQ

DJ,

The version of the song that I listen to is about 6.5 minutes long by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir (God Is Working album)

http://www.sonymusicstore.com/store...lent=338895/GOD-IS-WORKING/DVD/LT_sku=114085/

This link has a track listing with an excerpt of the song. I haven't been able to find it on youtube.com - it seems that there are several recordings by different artists. I even found an Adventist choir on youtube performing it. But I'm still most fond of the BTC version.

Thanks for the link.

I keep a play list on my ipod that is called "Start My Day". It has uplifting songs and songs that make me think. So I thought that I would share another one from my play list.

Sweet Jesus by True Vibe

Sorry I can't find a link so you can listen to the song, but it is awesome.

Plus One is another group I like:

Forever is a great song.

Some think they are too boy-band sounding. Um, yeah-that is the general idea.

I'm going to come clean here: I love boy-band music. Yes, I have all of the Backstreet Boys CD's and some N'Sync ones as well.

Ahhhhhhh, confession is so liberating and cleansing for the soul! :swoon:

Thanks Night for the links. I guess I should come clean also. I like some Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Boys 2 Men, and lets not forget New Edition.

My "Start My Day" play list is strictly christian music groups though.
