This is a poem I wrote on a day when I was fasting. I started to realize the amazing things God began to do in me and remind me as I dedicated a whole day towards Him!

A day with God
--------------------------
A day with God relaxes the soul and calms the mind
Bringing fears to a halt and thoughts to rest
A day with God reminds us of His amazing love
Surpassing all else and breaking all walls
A day with God provides more wisdom than expected
It will save us from the ways of this world
A day with God gives us His breath of life and purpose
Made in His image as male and female
A day with God brings forgiveness to us and our souls
Forgive others as Christ God forgave all
A day with God allows us to see His sacrifice
For God so loved the world, He died for all
