A closer walk with Jesus
In His word instructing me
Teaching me why Jesus died
Upon that cruel tree
Showing me of His great love
And of His sacrifice
For me to be free of my sins
Is why He gave His life
For when He died upon that tree
He put my sins to death
So I can die with Him to sin
And walk in righteousness
His commands I must obey
Live daily now for Him
Seeking His will for my life
And not my light go dim
A servant to Him I must be
Now walking in His ways
Ministering love and grace
To others day by day
For this is why He gave me life
So I would live for Him
And be His servant, share His love
So others live for Him
