A CHRISTMAS GIFT
A precious gift was given
Though many did not know,
The reason or the purpose
For this gift had a glow.
Only a few accept it
For they humbly received,
But many feared and doubted
For they would not believe.
Now this gift kept on reaching
Through darkness deep within.
Having love, grace and mercy
And power over sin.
It's a priceless gift to have
No other could be found.
Giving us peace, joy and hope
And light that is profound.
This gift is God's Son Jesus
Immanuel to all.
Is born to us a Savior,
The Lamb for sinful fall.
