Just so you are aware, the reason the owner gave of why this policy is in place, is to help prevent fights and arguments.seebs said:Er.
I'm not getting it.
How can a site which excludes Catholics be a "Christian" site?
Maybe I'm just dim, but, like, aren't Catholics pretty much half the worldwide Christian population, maybe a little more?

But you're right; if they are going to claim themsevles to be a "Christian" website, then they should allow all Christians to freely speak there.
Thanks bill!ps139 said:Alright, time to reopen this thread, lets try to keep it on topic, so we can help spread the truth, and dissolve the lies that spread about the Church founded by Christ.
You know, that is actually a very good idea.gtsecc said:It might be a good idea to post over in STR and send in the Anglicans. Most of us overthere are Anglo-Catholic. We translated the KJV (with deutero canon) so how can they argue with us?
Yes, even thought he is not a mod anymore, he still causes alot of trouble in any thread that is even remotely related to the Catholic Church. They did get rid of one of the mods that was one of the biggest troublemakers as far as the Catholics go and that was Earthless.

Good ole earthless, he's still around. TLF and I had some discussions with him, maybe I should pull out the Rosary beads for him. Words sure didn't penetrate his thick skull, maybe some prayers will.Rising_Suns said:Yes, even thought he is not a mod anymore, he still causes alot of trouble in any thread that is even remotely related to the Catholic Church.
I think I was posting there around 2001/2002. I recall (after either having had posts removed or put under the threat of that) hauling out their then-definition of "orthodox christian" (which referred pretty much to the Nicene Creed) and pointing out that, under their own definition, Catholics/Orthodox were "orthodox."Maximus said:Christianity.com's infamous "TOS #17": "Do not make statements...contrary to those of Christianity as articulated by the historic creeds, as understood by Evangelicalism, and as interpreted by ChristianBBS.com/Christianity.com at its sole discretion."
That rule was written in 2003 as a response to the inroads Catholics and Orthodox were making at Christianity.com.
The key is the phrase "as understood by Evangelicalism." That made all the rest of us personae non grata.
