This is such a sad post to me. So many Christians who are supposed to be sons of the all mighty king and filled with the fullness of God and have the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, are living out of a place of fear. This is such a fear based post and gives so much power to satan. Why do we humor the efforts of an already defeated creature. Jesus said "it is finished." All principalities are disarmed. He is king and seated in heaven and we are there with him. We are not to be afraid of the devil. I eat the devil for breakfast and poop him out. NOTHING can touch me when I am in Christ and I just happen to be seated in heavenly places in Him according to my bible. I am not being naive and I am not boasting at all in myself, but I am pointing it all to Christ and boasting in Him and His word. This is not a biblical approach to secular music at all. This is a fear based old covenant approach and these kinds of mindsets are really ruining the body of Christ. All things are from God. These "secular" artist are actually lost sons and daughters. Do you think Satan gave them these melodies and musical abilities? Do you think satan created these people for his evil plan? Absolutely not. God created them for his pleasure and for His plan but they are just being tricked by the deceiver. Then "christians" like this, still holding on to the ministry of condemnation instead of the new ministry of reconciliation like we are suppose to have according to Paul, are making it worse and saying these people are evil and blah blah blah. You cannot call God's kids evil. It is not ok. They are just lost and want to find love and we are supposed to be that love and show it to them. I think secular music a lot of the time has more of God in it than most Christian music. We need to stop being sin/fear conscious and start being Jesus/Love conscious
