The only thing I miss about Texas, besides the food, are the spring/summer thunderstorms."Cool" thread idea, pun intended. =P
I don't really enjoy the Spring or Summer seasons either, especially here in Texas were it's usually hot and humid most of the time. But, I do love the Fall and especially Winter. I so look forward to the cooler weather throughout the year, as well as holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. The heat has been quite intense as of late, which makes it difficult to be outside for extended periods of time. But, the drop in temperature with the latter seasons means more time to spend outside, getting to enjoy the fireplace and outdoor burn pit, no mosquitoes, having a Fall and Winter garden, etc. A few things I do enjoy with the warmer seasons are the thunderstorms and spending time at the beach / water parks, but that's about it.
Cooler weather is da bomb.I don't like thunderstorms, and that's a big reason why I prefer cooler weather. The bugs, general noisiness, and the heat making it hard to sleep are problems too.
Yeah, eventually I would like to move up north somewhere though....maybe towards the panhandle lol.The only thing I miss about Texas, besides the food, are the spring/summer thunderstorms.
That's just more desert and grass. You need to move to the great white north! Like, you know, MichiganCooler weather is da bomb.I hate bugs too.
