Praising God that we have a fairly decent medical staff in our local hospital! Yesterday was such an "up" day for me that little did I know that my feel-good energy would be needed from midnight to early morning, waiting with my son in the hospital!
He'd been hurt at work when a steel part "dinged" him in the elbow. He said it was like getting hit in the funny bone
really hard. The bleeding wasn't too awfully bad, though. He was brought home from his supervisor around 12:30am and came into our room stating he needed a ride to the hospital. Since this is literally hubby's last week of work after 21 years at the same place, he can't afford to take time off, so I had the wonderful joy of bringing him in. lol The doctor says the cut isn't too deep and did a couple stitches and was concerned about swelling which we have a prescription for. I praise God that my son has a pretty good pain tolerance and he barely flinched when they poked and prodded him while a young intern looked on.

During this time when I usually feel anxious as most parents do when their child gets hurt and needs a trip to the ER, I felt a peaceful calm. It's amazing what happens when you trust God.
Also, there was a young couple with a toddler and another baby on the way who were just having a terrible time. Pray that that child will be OK and the parents can be at peace.
