CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

reps to those who have posted so far, are we going to make it to 7??? I dont know about anyone else but I like the threads where I can pop in, quickly give my reps out (5 or more up the thread) and know that at least that many will rep me behind my post, is this silly thinking or what? cmon we got a 4 a 5 and a 10, why not a 7 rep thread??? isnt 7 supposed to be a favored number?

sweety, it's a total bear to get ANY new threads started in here... I put up 2 this morning that would act as something similar to a swapping type of thread only for doing rep passing & they didn't go anywhere either.
I really hope this works out, I think it's a great number for a rep passing thread
