7 reasons to not participate in OCC

The tone of this piece is a bit harsh to me, but I do share some of the same concerns as the author.

What is your take on this charity? Does your church participate? Have you ever participated? Other thoughts?

I don't feel strongly, but would prefer a different Christmas ministry. Our congregation distributes things to families in the local community. I'm pretty sure we choose things that they appreciate.

We have participated in the past, but for some of the reasons given we have decided this year to provide Christmas gifts, food to local families in need.
