I am starting a collection on all things related to 6000.

one day as a thousand years
six days (6000) for sin and the seventh for rest (millinium - 1000years).

Remember in Genesis chapter 6 Father God said, "My Spirit will not always strive with man, but his days on earth shall be 120 years"? If that is jubilee years, which happens every fifty years, then God said, "I won’t always strive with man. Man's years will be 6,000 years". 120 X 50 = 6000

Would like to see some other ways of looking at 6000

How do you know that it was 120 years to the flood.I think I agree with both of you,I think he also meant 6000 and maybe that he refered to how long people would be living.There are so many levels everywhere though.

Noah was 600 years old when he went into the ark and was saved and the whole earth was washed clean.

There are six branches on the Menorah, three go out from one side and three from the other and one in the middle higher than the others.

Six days you shall eat the bread of affliction and on the seventh day shall be a day of Holy Convocation.

When King David brought up the Ark, the men carrying it went six paces and then King David made sacrifices and then joyously danced before the L-RD.

At mount sinai at the time of the feast of weeks, Shavuoth during the time that the law was given on Mount Sinai which I understand 3000 died around that time because of sin. Then the first feast of weeks that occured after Yeshua had risen and returned to heaven, 3000 heard the message and were saved. That's 6000 who's experience the workings of the Holy Spirit.
