  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"The results of the study, which dates the cultural layer at Shiyu to a period between 45,800 and 43,200 years ago, reveal an Initial Upper Palaeolithic (IUP) archaeological assemblage. This assemblage includes laminar technology, Levallois points, tanged and hafted projectile points, tools made with obsidian from hundreds of kilometers away, and a perforated graphite disk."

Shiyu site in northern China reveals evidence of an advanced material culture 45,000 years ago

The Chinese came from Noah's grandson.

Genesis 10:1a Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth:

Genesis 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and
Canaan.

Genesis 10:15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the
Sinite,

It's a decimal point problem.
No, it's a believing myths are history problem.

It's interesting as well that the Chinese don't mention anything about Noah, Ham, Canaan or "The Sinite" in their creation myths and origin stories. Nor in Korean or Japanese myths either. I think you'd agree that all of these people stemmed from the same group given their cultural and ethnic similarities and geography. How come the people you say came from Ham's descendants don't seem to know anything at all about their Noachian fore-fathers?

Chinese (HaSini הַסִּינִי ). Sinite (Genesis10:15-17 ,HaSini הַסִּינִי) . Sinim (Isaiah 49:12, Sinim סִינִים) . Israeli teacher Amit in China told me that these three concepts are not the same thing, but three.

The cohesion of Chinese Han ancestors was based on the tribal alliance between the Huang Emperor and the Yan Emperor. It is generally believed that the Huang Emperor belonged to the Ham (which means "Heat") lineage, while the Yan Emperor belonged to the Japheth lineage.

Do they mention God?

How's come academia doesn't mention God in its creation story?

Did he also tell you that the Godhead is not the same thing, but three?

Based on what evidence? That they both start with the same letter/sound?

That "descent from noah" bit sure is not "generally believed" by very many of us.

Ite more droll than offensive, but still.

HOWEVER, should someone care to
provide validenon biblical evidence,it will
get proper attention.
If not they are in thw wrong forum

I also thought about challenging this bit, but I don't know Chinese history really at all:

The cohesion of Chinese Han ancestors was based on the tribal alliance between the Huang Emperor and the Yan Emperor.

Maybe educational ? But beneficial to any ?
"academia", "educated ones", are not learning the true story, are they ?
I get you but for me it's interesting but I take all that with a grain of salt. How can we truly know what happened in ancient times? After all, history was passed down verbally for so many centuries.

Nope.

They're being fed information to combat the Bible.

And another (eye opening) thread here shows that that information is so convincing, they don't need a time machine to verify it.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had preserved, eyewitness documentation from those who were there?

'Nice'? Maybe, maybe not. Emotions vary so much within minutes.....

Stay with, or return to, Jesus' Word; He was there. He Knows. Perfectly.
... That's exactly what I was driving at.
