So today the 40 Days for Life fall campaign kicked off (Sep.25 - Nov.3rd) in 306 cities all over the country! Everyday they post a daily devotional and scripture. I will be posting those here and keeping you all up to date on my local campaign.
40 Days for Life is a peaceful prayer and fasting vigil outside of abortion clinics all over the country. It is a none violent Godly approach to ending abortion and reaching women and children and saving lives. Here is their website if you would like to know more....40 Days for Life you can also get information on your local cities and see who your director is so you can contact them on how to sign up for a day or for your church to sign up. Since it's start in 2004 7,536 lives have been saved, 40 clinics have been closed, and 83 workers have quite their jobs in the abortion industry!
Anyway our first day out we had a save! Praise God! A woman who has been seen a few times at the Women's Care Center, did not keep her appointment at the abortion facility, saying she could not do it. Praise God. The Lord is working all over the country changing hearts and rocking lives!
