Dear lord jesus, I thank you for the many blessings that you have brought into my life and your continued love in times of extreme trials that has brought me ever closer to you. You, Jesus, are the lord of my life and the source of my strength. And yet, Lord, I know that I have continued to sin against you and your word and you, Jesus, have brought the burden of my sins to convict me, to chasten me, and to bring you ever closer to you.
The burden of the sins of my mind, body and soul has become unbearable and I know, Jesus, that only your great love, forgiveness and mercy can wash me of them and only the power of your holy spirit can bring me the redeeming strength to finally lay them aside. Lord Jesus, it is in my heart to repent fully of all that my serve to separate me from you and all that might enable the enemy, Satan and his agents, to enter into my life.
In your holy name Jesus, I do humbly and totally repent and plea your strength to loose the holds of sin of body and mind, sins well known and unknown, sins of things or thoughts done or left undone, all sins of the body, the world, the mind or my very soul. Cleanse me Lord that I might serve you in the holiness that you would have of me. Lord Jesus, I truly rebuke the powers of the enemy and the temptations of the world.
Build in me a new heart Lord and grant unto me that freedom to serve you as one purified through your holy blood. Lord Christ I cry out to you as a sinner, and , yet, as one desiring to be cleansed through you. Help me Lord to loose the hold of that which enslaves and weakens and empower me Lord to resist that which would weaken me and, rather, Lord to cling to you in all that I am and all that you might have me be. Lord Jesus, I pray through you atoning blood for your forgiveness and for your strength in the times ahead of me. Loose from me all bondage, all holds, all chains and break from me
the sins and memories of the past. Make in me a new creation and grant in me the simple ability to know your mercy and that I am forgiven. Lord grant me your peace as the burden of this is unbearable to me and my one desire in life is to fully know and serve you.
