Prayer for our brother who is going to Kuwait

[Blindfaith]

This is a prayer for all of us, to lift up Nicholas, (alonesoldier), who is going to be leaving for Kuwait this weekend. 

He is one of many who are going to serve his country (the US), and I want us to continually keep him, and others, in prayer. 

Heavenly Father,

I come to you in prayer, that you keep your precious child, Nicholoas, safe and away from harm.  I pray Lord, that this includes the many that are trying to rid this world of evil, and that they are successful.  Lord, we pray that you place a hedge of protection over Nicholas, and that he comes back to us to sing your praises Jesus.  We ask, in your most Holy Name,

I'd like to keep this a running prayer, that we are constantly reminded of the danger he and his friends are facing, and that we don't forget, and never cease praying for.

Alonesoldier ~ please keep us updated when you are able to, although we understand you may not be able to.  We will be praying for you constantly!  The prayer warriors here are unbelievable.  Please keep in mind Romans 8:28.  You are blessed, and loved by those of us here.  We wait to here from you upon your return or sooner......

Lord, please divert the hostilities and don't let any war happen, so alonesoldier and all the other military personnel from both sides don't have to be in danger. Lord, there are other ways to resolve the problems, violence against a whole nation should not be the first course of action. Too many innocent people will be harmed, US's reputation abroad is being ruined, and nothing positive can come from this war. The finding of twelve old warheads is not enough of a reason to attack a nation. Please help us resolve this before war can happen! We ask this through the authority given to us by Christ, amen.
