  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm also thankful to have that cute guy in our class.
I love this class.

I love thirty days of thankfulness! I quit posting mine on Facebook because apparently people got annoyed. So I'm totally in...and behind...

Day 1:
I'm thankful for our heavenly Father, creator of all things, and his everlasting love and mercy.

Day 2:
I'm thankful for Jesus Christ, the son of God, who died on the cross for you and me.

Day 3:
I'm thankful for the guidance of the Lord and his peace that enters my heart.

Day 4:
I'm thankful for my family and friends and having such wonderful, beautiful people in my life.

I'm thankful to live in a country that offers so many opportunities and the chance to vote for my leaders, even if my vote doesn't matter that much. It could be a lot worse. We're spoiled.
