Taking on the Traffickers
This is a page with three different stories of people who fight human trafficking on the front lines. The video format does a good job of scratching the surface of the mental toll that these people take to save others from the worst of conditions. These remind me of my friend who works "in the field"; so few people she can open up to, so much obsession and nightmares and stress with everything that still needs to be done. I am only on the fringes of it, though I think, fear, and hope that I will be able to do more than just Christian Forums posts one day.
As a side note, these videos showcase the "front lines" workers against trafficking. If you want a smaller & extremely meaningful way to work against it, please consider adopting from foster care; search "Human trafficking in foster care" to learn why this is so crucial. These kids need a home, and until they have it, they're among the most vulnerable for this crime. Raise them with the Christian love you're called to, and know that you will leave an incredible impact in someone's soul.
