3 days of Visions

Hello brothers and sisters, my name is Felipe, I'm 33 years old and this is my very first thread and I'd like to share these visions I had recently and perhaps get an interpretation.

This happened during three straight days. I was praying and reading the Word or books related to the Scriptures, seeking understanding. The visions came when I had just lay down to sleep or right after waking up. It is actually one vision that was split up during 3 days. These were not dreams, I was awake.

First day:
1. I hear a voice saying: "It's encrypted, Felipe.";
2. I see a lion that devours my face.

Second day:
1. I saw myself using elevators and stairs to open and close water valves, I understood also that I was moving up during this process;
2.a. A double door that was sealed with a sausage that ran through the inside of the handles;
b. The meat moves out of the sausage leaving the skin behind;
c. The doors open breaking the skin and there's light inside.

Third day:
1.a. A happy smiling person hands me a colorful tunic that has a black background (canvas);
b. Then this person with one hand give me a glass of water that is overflowing (I can see it wetting the person's hand) and with the other hand he/she holds a jug up-high with water that does not stop filling the glass;
c. A flute on the vertical, over the person's right shoulder.
2. I see a metal bust of a lion and I hear: "This is your face now, Felipe."

That's it for the vision. I was alone for almost a month, an amount of time that I rarely spend alone, and I was praying, worshiping Him and reading. I had other things happening (relating to God) at that month but were not related to this/these vision(s) I think. I'm a musician, maybe a connection to the flute.

What makes you think that these vissions are from God?

Why do you need a vission from God to get you to follow him, or to correct sinnful behavour?

Could we say the over flowing glass of water is a sign that, Christ is offering you salvation! Remember, when Christ had an encounter with the Samaritan woman (John 4), He went onto say to her, "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life".

Encrypted: I think of sealed doors, sealed wisdom, and person under protection. 'Double doors' remind me of Isaiah 45. Please read.

Doors open could mean access to the presence of God (you saw light), knowledge/secrets/treasures/mysteries/deliverance/promotion.

Opening and closing water valves remind me of releasing and stopping the window of salvation/talent/gift at different places as you keep moving.

Paul referred 'meat' to solid food which is strong word of God as spiritual food for a matured believer.

Tunic reminded me of Jacob giving colorful coat to his youngest son Joseph and priestly coats (Hebrew ketonet) used in the old testament.

A flute on the vertical, over the person's right shoulder: I think of an angel anointing you with overflowing salvation through music.

A lion that devours my face: Something bad taking your life. Metal bust of a lion (your face): Solid/strong/powerful life comes to my mind.

This is how I would interpret this dream for myself. Please forgive me if it seems harsh or rude. I want to be objective, but this in no way means I think I really know anything about you.

First day:

A lion like persona is going to consume you. To me this means you’ll become more obstinate in power, because of a situation where something fierce has confronted you.

Second day:
1. I saw myself using elevators and stairs to open and close water valves, I understood also that I was moving up during this process;
2.a. A double door that was sealed with a sausage that ran through the inside of the handles;
b. The meat moves out of the sausage leaving the skin behind;
c. The doors open breaking the skin and there's light inside.

You are very quickly moving up with ambition. You’re very enabled to do that. Despite a very masculine, expecting or unprofessional demeanor, you’re easily able to go through doors and find exciting opportunities open up. The valves I believe represent the way you work creates chaos or distress for others. I’ve had a dream where I was opening a valve that caused ice to come out of a dragon’s mouth. So maybe it’s not as bad as what I’ve done before. But be careful.

Third day:
1.a. A happy smiling person hands me a colorful tunic that has a black background (canvas);
b. Then this person with one hand give me a glass of water that is overflowing (I can see it wetting the person's hand) and with the other hand he/she holds a jug up-high with water that does not stop filling the glass;

This is a little more difficult for me to try and understand because of the canvas. I think it would be easier if I had some kind of personal connection to these symbols. I do believe the rainbow tunic represents extreme favor like with Joseph. The flute seems to go with that theme of someone playing your tune (singing your praises). On the other hand that same person has given you an overwhelming task. This is going to mold you into a solid strong person.

Personally, I would think this means you have a lot of good things ahead. But despite your strong masculine personality, I would ask that you consider the fierceness you use in dealing with others in this situation. You may be a very gentle person today. Don’t let this harden you when you encounter situations that require temperance and gentleness. Also, don’t get overwhelmed by the person who seems to give you a lot of responsibility. There may be some way to adapt to or alter that situation to make it a better fit. If you apply the technical ability you have in changing valves, you can probably overcome the complexity. I really hope this helps. If not, please let me know. I don’t want to mislead or discourage anyone. I believe your purpose is great. The journey and the way it transforms you is what you’ll need to watch objectively.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! Your visions are related to The Anointing of The Lord. This I have been given, and yet I am not worthy. My cup overflows. When one walks in The Spirit, the joy and peace is so great that your face will glow, for all to see. Give to all that are thirsty, this living water, and your cup will overflow as well. Now is the time, as we walk through this time of great darkness. Be Blessed in Jesus Holy Name.

Thank you all for your responses until now, I'm taking all your thoughts into consideration in light of all that's been happening in my life and the reason for this vision from God and I am sure He has plans for me and my family.

Around 3 years ago I received a clear message that it was a 'time of changes' and I truly see a lot of changes to situations that were in a halt for years. I could share more about what's been happening but I feel I must keep it private in respect for the people around me and myself.

May the Lord bless you all even more than He's been blessing me and mine.

The visions have to do with the Lord using you in music ministry, and painting "colorful canvases" for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah through your gift, being led by the continuous outpouring of the Spirit.

But you will have to turn from walking in the flesh to abiding in the Spirit first, if you would fully remove the seal.

I used the elevator to move up a "level", I was the one moving the elevator by using a hand crank with a shape similar to this one: It wasn't black though, it was silver.

After getting to this level, I'd open the water valves with my right hand (I didn't noticed a specific type, seemed like a one hand regular ones), use curved stairs that were on left and right sides to move down and close the previous opened valves on the lower level. Then I'd took the elevator moving up and do it again.

Ok, the following interpretation is based on the assumption that everything you have posted is true.

- I hear a voice saying: "It's encrypted, Felipe." = Hearing an audible voice and receiving this message in visions rather than in dreams is telling. It means the Lord wants you to be fully reassured of this message. Visions carry a greater assurance than dreams generally do, because it eliminates the possibility of the whole thing just being a figment of your imagination.

- I see a lion that devours my face = This relates to the flute, and that the Lord (Lion of Judah) is desiring to manifest Himself through you, in particular through your face (i.e. your lips and mouth during worship. It may also relate to Him singing through you as well).

- I saw myself using elevators and stairs to open and close water valves, I understood also that I was moving up during this process + I used the elevator to move up a "level", I was the one moving the elevator by using a hand crank with a shape similar to this one: It wasn't black though, it was silver.

Then I'd took the elevator moving up and do it again. = Here is being described the process you will need to go through to release the waters of the Spirit, and "rise" to new levels to accomplish the next part of the vision (everything in this series of visions is sequential). It will involve praying to become "elevated" spiritually to higher levels. The more you pray, the more you will be "moving up" in the process spiritually, and the more the waters of the Spirit will be "welling up" (John 4:11-15). The purpose of you "cranking" on this is to remove fleshly hinderances to walking in the overflow of the Spirit over your life completely. Here it is below you. Eventually it will fill you to overflowing.

- A double door that was sealed with a sausage that ran through the inside of the handles = What seems really bizarre in dreams to us is often one of the earmarks of a genuine dream from God. Some things (like this here) just stand out so strongly as being so odd that we can't forget them. Here is the meaning:
Sausage is most often made with pork, an unclean food according to Jewish custom. Likewise, meat represents the flesh. Taken together, the sausage represents fleshliness or uncleanness you may still be walking in in your life (Don't worry. We all still do to some extent). But beyond the double doors there is light, which represents a door being opened unto you to walk into the power and glory of God. But it will not come until you have broken this seal of fleshliness off the doors.

- The meat moves out of the sausage leaving the skin behind; The doors open breaking the skin and there's light inside. = This represents turning from walking more in the flesh (the meat) to walking more in the spirit (the skin). It may also represented living more of a fasted lifestyle, which often goes hand in hand with walking in the Spirit. But once you have come to this place, the doors themselves will break what is left of any obstacles remaining in you to walk into the power and glory of God.

- A happy smiling person hands me a colorful tunic that has a black background (canvas). Then this person with one hand gave me a glass of water that is overflowing (I can see it wetting the person's hand) and with the other hand he/she holds a jug up-high with water that does not stop filling the glass = You are the cup. Once you do what is necessary to break the doors, this will bring great joy and happiness to the Lord, and He will begin pouring out His Spirit upon you abundantly, and it will not stop pouring. You will enter what is referred to in scripture as abiding continually in the Spirit.

- A flute on the vertical, over the person's right shoulder. I see a metal bust of a lion and I hear: "This is your face now, Felipe." = At this point, the Lord will be fully manifesting Himself through you, again through your face in particular. I don't know whether you play any wind instruments or not, but the suggestion seems to be you should consider picking one up if you don't already. It appears He desires to minister worship unto the Father through your face specifically (rather than your hands, as with guitars and pianos).

This is actually only the rough draft. There are a few details here I don't have insight on yet, such as why the flute is "on the vertical," and why it is on His "right shoulder." They mean something, but I don't know what it is yet.

I'll do some more praying over it. If you have any questions, ask. I'd also be interested to know what instruments you currently play, and how much experience you have in playing and/or leading worship.

Btw, forgot to mention it, but the tunic here represents a spiritual mantle, an anointing to "paint" colorful music unto the Lord. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth, and He takes pleasure in creating through His servants.​

Thank you very much for your words, Hidden! They sure come to meet some understandings I have about these visions and what I have being doing in searching for understanding of His Word and Will, and wanting to be near Him. There is so much that's been happening in the past years in my life... Visions, auditions, feelings, tastes, smells. And not only with me but my family, churches I attended and also random people I meet on the street. When He said to me that it was a "time for changes" it was something truly serious. I could write post over post of things that already happened and I also know that there are still more to come because He said so.

I'd also be interested to know what instruments you currently play, and how much experience you have in playing and/or leading worship.

I learned (still learning, it never ends) music mainly through the guitar (electric and acoustic) but nowadays I'm on the piano and my main urge in music has always been composition. When I was 14, the age I publicly accepted salvation through Jesus, I also started learning music. I played in the worship of that church for some time but "life" happened and I strayed away for a good 10+ years but this is a story for another thread.

All that said, what I really enjoy is composition, writing for Orchestra. I have written many pieces already and I was blessed with a recording of one for full orchestra. I am currently working on a piece about Genesis and I am almost done. I'm on the sixth day, the creation of man in His image and likeness.

Aha! That would explain the colorful canvases then, wouldn't it, LoL!

It also suggests that "through your face" may actually be about potentially conducting some day, Pelipe. It especially explains the bust... (though your "fame" may be in eternity, rather than this life). It also explains the flute, which while all things are possible with God is nevertheless a pretty rare instrument to be using in a typical worship team these days.

It also changes a few things I said. You wouldn't have to actually learn flute to compose parts for it, or for a full orchestra for that matter...

Praise God. I'm gonna spend some more time on this one, then. When I said "this is just a rough draft," I was sensing there were parts of the interpretation that weren't completely refined yet. So I'm gonna put some more prayer to it. There's certainly more work that can be done on it.

I don't know if I expressed myself correctly in this sentence but what I meant was that this person gave a tunic that was colorful but, this tunic had a primary color that was black, not white. The colors where over the black, covering it. The tunic that once was black, was becoming colorful.

Yeah. As strange as it sounded, that's actually how I took it.

Colors stand out most vividly over black backgrounds, and since this tunic was given to you like that by the Lord, it appears that was/is/will be the intended purpose : )

One time I received a prophetic vision from someone who made the assumption, based on me playing the flute on the worship team at church, that I would write songs which would become symphonies. It was similar to what you're describing, Felipe.

The woman's interpretation of the vision was partially right. She could only base it on what she knew of me at that present time in our church. The portion she got correct was the writing of symphonies. However, they were not symphonies of music rather symphonies of words. God was speaking to me to write novels.

I had played my flute since I was 8 years old. After I was saved as an adult, I received beautiful songs to play from the Lord. These songs changed people's lives. So I assumed as well that this woman was hearing correctly from the Lord. It took eight plus years to realize the vision had nothing to do with writing symphonies as in music. That year I was given a clear vision during a pastor's call to prayer and letting go. During that letting go of any baggage, I gave the Lord my flute and playing it. In return I saw and felt a vision of him giving me a heavy book. It was so heavy I had to sit down. My forearms were literally heavy with the burden of writing that the Lord placed on me that day.

I'd pray for clarity about these interpretations. I'm not doubting anyone's interpretation. I'm not debating them either. I'm simply stating to weigh all answers and then pray for clarity.
