29 turning 30

Any suggestions? What can I do to celebrate such an eventful birthday.
I want to make it memorable and fun and yet I don't have a fortune...

Go see the Blue Man Group.

If your birthday is in the summer, or if you live in a warm climate, go to the beach.

Or, if your birthday is in the summer or you live in a warm climate, go to a theme park (like Six Flags or something).

Have a barbeque.

Oh, that is a momentous birthday. I would gather all my friends and have some sort of themed party. That's what my old circle of friends used to do. It was always a good time!

I am looking forward to my 30s, only my boyfriend is younger than me and crossing that threshold where he's in his 20s and I in my 30s may feel a bit weird.
But so far, I'm loving it! Counting down, 3 months to go...

Idea: Pray to God for a birthday blessing. It's not really selfish if you already have your prayers for everyone else down.

God blessed me very abundantly when I asked for 30th birthday blessings.
