This may come across strange to some but I have an urgent request. First and foremost, we need prayer. My husband has been out of work now for several months and now his unemployment checks have run out. He has been actively seeking employment but we live in such a rural area that jobs are hard to find for him. We know that God will provide him with one in His own time but we just wish it would be soon with Christmas coming up and all. We have 3 little girls ages 4, 6 and 8 and we are concerned that Christmas will be very lean this year. Well, even if he found a job tomorrow, Christmas would be lean anyways. But we do have each other and God and that's what counts.
Our other problem is that with such limited income, our house is less than 2 months from going into forclosure. We are currently 3 months behind in our payments and out bank has told us we have less than 60 days to catch up or they will start the process of foreclosure. Again, we are putting our trust in the Lord and we know that He will get us through this but he gave us brains to use wisely. Herein lies the request we use reluctantly. We have discussed our situation with our individual disciplers and our pastor and all agree that we should be creative if necessary in meeting our needs. Creative in the Lord with His blessings of course.
I am sorry if I seem to be rambling but I am very concerned as you can probably tell. Christmas still has it's true meaning here but the small children don't understand and I don't know what to say the them.
Thank you for letting me bend your ear and for anything you can do for us.
Agape,
D
