Does the camera view spin through mechanical means, or do astronauts move it? I just clicked on the video and I got a view where you could see just the curve of the earth then it spun so you could see more of the satellite in view.

EDIT: Astronauts were moving it around now just a minute ago.

I think it spins on it's own, but right now there's also an astronaut controlling it. He's done about 3/4 selfies in the last 20 mins haha.

If

Well if you're gonna take a selfie, space is the place to do it! :)

Anyone know how long the astronauts stay up there? They've got to go back to Earth sometime and probably get others to go up to the ISS.

This is just awesome. I guess 17,150 miles/hour (27.600 km/hr) is pretty fast after all. :)

If the ISS was at airplane altitude the Mach speed would be about 16 (the Mach measurement does not apply in space, although I suppose someone could make an argument for ISS traveling at Mach infinity).

NASA thought of that (although I am mystified as to why). From the YouTube stream description:

I understand why. It's because people who believe in a flat Earth have become more prevalent over the years lately (for some reason) so they want to clarify to set the record straight.
