A 21-degree night followed by a 30-degree night took their toll on some of our plants. 3 out of 4 pepper plants gone. Half the last sowing of Kale gone. Celeriac is not gone... but really suffering. Celtuce is about gone.
I covered the squash, and it is ok. Also, the potatoes... they are fine. Greens, spinach, and collards suffered but seem to be coming back. The strawberries are fine. I was not worried about them. Any flowers or fruits on the plants are dead. Worst is the fig trees. All the week-old leaves are dry and crumbly. Most of the blueberry leaves seem to be wilted but surviving.
Praise the Lord for all things. We will pick up and carry on!!!!
