Problem number 1: wimpy engine- It has been my desire to take a long roadtrip. From Canada to Mexico, along the coast as much as possible, taking my time, enjoying each town. It would take a few months so as long as it runs, then I don't care how fast it goes. Not for that kind of trip.Why thank you again.There are a couple things with the Bus that would preclude me from taking it on a trip. First, it has an incredibly wimpy engine. Second, since the engine is under the rear floorboards, there's nothing protecting the driver and front passenger. Your knees are the first line of defense. Sorry, that was kind of a buzz-kill.

Problem number 2: smashed knees-
Minus the whole roll cage, and the chopped off back, this is an example of the type of bumper guard I'd have put on.
